Export Assistance Program

Telstra Business and Austrade have set up a program to help winners and finalists from the Telstra Business Women’s Award program to develop their export potential.

The Export Assistance Program will help identify those companies and entrepreneurs with real potential to help Australia boost its exports and ultimately improve its terms of trade.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?

Any business who meets all of the following criteria will be eligible to participate in the export assistance program.

• The business is a small or medium sized Australian business
• The business is a winner or finalist of the Telstra Business Awards or, alternatively, an owner of the business was a winner or finalist of the Telstra Business Women's Awards;
• The business meets the export readiness requirements of Austrade, as detailed on their website: www.austrade.gov.au/austrade-nedp/default.aspx.

  Austrade's decision in relation to the eligibility of a business for the export assistance program will be final and binding.

Will there be any costs associated with this opportunity?

There will be no costs associated with the provision of the networking and support activities carried out by Telstra and Austrade within Australia.  The business may, however, incur charges if an offshore organisation is engaged to assist the business with its exporting opportunities in a particular region.
