Since Lyn took on the majority-ownership of the Katherine car dealership four years ago, it has grown from a staff of three to 16, and has reached a turnover $10 million. Lyn has used her skills as a former school teacher to run the award-winning business. In 2000, she became the first woman to win the Ford Motor Company's prestigious Dealer of the Year award - highlighting her achievements and success in the male-dominated industry.

Suzanne also volunteers her time as secretary of the local arm of Landcare.

Carol is the Principal Nurse Consultant with the Department of Health and Community Services. Her role involves developing initiatives to assist in delivering quality health services. While working at the Royal Darwin Hospital, Carol oversaw the development of all emergency management plans for the hospital. The plans were tested in extreme and horrifying circumstances when the Royal Darwin became the front-line emergency hospital following the Bali bombings last year.
